Prophet Dhul-Kifl (pbuh)

Prophet Dhul-Kifl (pbuh)

Allah the Almighty declared: And [mention] Ishmael and Idrees and Dhul-Kifl; all were of the patient. (Ch 21:85Quran).

Allah directed: And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. (45) Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. (46) And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding. (47) And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding.” (Ch 38:45-48 Quran).

Ibn Jarir narrated that he was not a prophet but he was a righteous man. He supported his people to suffice their needs and administrated justice among them. That is why he was called Dhul Kifl. (means possessor of, or giving, a double requital or portion)
